Acceptable Use Policy

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It describes what you may not do with Clip Tagger. It applies to every account, including workspace admins.

Accounts and access

• Do not share your login, or let anyone use the Service through your account.
• Do not attempt to access a workspace, roster, or account you were not invited to.
• Do not misrepresent your affiliation with a university or athletics department in order to create or join a workspace.

People's information

• Upload only what identifying information a workspace actually needs — number, name, position. Nothing sensitive: no medical, academic, disciplinary, contact, or financial details about athletes.
• Do not upload information about anyone under 18 unless your organisation is authorised to process it and has any consent the law requires.
• Do not use the Service to track, profile, or monitor individuals for any purpose other than organising your own footage.

Roster imports

• Import only from pages you are permitted to import from. Respect each site's terms of use and robots directives.
• Do not use the import feature to bulk-harvest data at volume, or in a way that burdens another organisation's servers.

Branding and marks

• Upload logos and colours only for an organisation you are authorised to represent.
• Do not use another institution's marks in a way that implies affiliation or endorsement.

The Service itself

• Do not copy, republish, or redistribute the Service or its code.
• Do not reverse engineer it or use any part of it to build a competing product.
• Do not probe, scan, or test the security of the Service or its infrastructure, or attempt to bypass access controls, without our written permission. Responsible disclosure of a vulnerability to the address below is welcome and will not be treated as a breach of this policy.
• Do not use automated means to access the Service beyond ordinary use, or place an unreasonable load on it.
• Do not upload anything designed to interfere with the Service or other users, including malicious files or code.

Generally

• Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or harass anyone.
• Do not use it in any way that would put your institution in breach of its own obligations, including student privacy rules such as FERPA where they apply.

If this policy is breached

We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts or whole workspaces, and where necessary notify the affected institution or the authorities. We will use judgement and, where it is reasonable to do so, contact you first.
